The Maxwell RC6 is intended for small to medium-sized boats and can handle chains and ropes for anchoring operations. It is commonly employed on boats where space and weight are crucial, as it provides a compact and lightweight design without sacrificing performance. The RC6 is intended to accommodate a 1/4-inch chain as well as a 1/2-inch rope, providing a variety of anchoring choices.
The RC6 utilizes 6mm/7mm (1/4") chain spliced to 12mm (1/2") three strand or 8-plait rope.
Maximum Pull: 660 lbs.
Providing most of the features of the larger RC8, the RC6 has been designed with the smaller, trailer boat market in mind.
The in-line, vertical gearbox and motor mean quick and easy installation by either the boat yard or the DIY aftermarket customer.
